Building a Healthy Community
We want your input.
ISD 191 is an outstanding place for me to work. My colleagues, the community, and the students all reflect the caring and commitment exhibited every day in every interaction I have.  We have many fine administrators and staff working in this school district whose professionalism and dedication to working with children is second to none.

ISD 191 has several opportunities right now including: recruiting and hiring a new superintendent, welcoming new school board members, and making annual course corrections to our budget.

Community Eduction's role in this work, is to consider how we may expand our services and provide additional opportunities for community members.
It is important to understand that the programs and services Community Education provides have different funding sources than the schools. This provides us the ability to be more flexible and responsive in meeting the needs of our communities, as well as those of our K-12 learners.
Critical to this practice is receiving direct in put from our community members. Consider being a part of the Community Education Advisory Council or connecting with us via phone or email or completing our online survey here.

Browse through the whole slate of summer opportunities we've got planned. I hope you will find something of interest. If not, reach out to us with your feedback.
We value your input as it provides us the direction we need to serve you even better.

Tom Umhoefer, Director of Community Education ISD 191.
