My thermometer reads summer! Currently at 94 degrees and I am feeling every single bit of that. The humidity is up high with a lovely gentle breeze and I must say it’s kind of nice to be home to enjoy it. I can tell you that outdoor plants really like being watered regularly – something my flowers were unfamiliar with up before COVID!
The Shredding Event last week was a great success and kudos to all of you for all the cleaning you’ve been doing. Perhaps this is hard to hear but there have been a couple of good things resulting from COVID-19. My house has never been and stayed this clean. My hair got the chance to grow out a bit – something I have since corrected! And, those nails – THEY’RE BACK.
Then, there is the not necessarily good stuff. We have continued this week to dig deeper into all the things necessary before any type of phased opening can begin. We are also gathering the plans of those who provide services/activities at the BSC. Once a startup date is determined, I will be happy to share it right here... in the meantime keep your fingers crossed.
Food and shopping needs continue to be a great need in our community. The One91 Community Pantry remains available as a no cost food alternative.Pull up in your vehicle, let us know the number in your family and receive the items available on that day.
