The Burnsville Senior Center is a vibrant hub of activities and resources for local seniors. There are many ways to get connected.
The Chatter, is our newsletter currently published three time a year.(January, May and September) and provides information about the activities of the upcoming four months. Please refer to the Chatter for the most up to the minute information! It's available in pdf: click here.
The Senior Center Advisory Council meets the third Monday of each month at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome.
More activities can be found in the tabs on the left. You can also register for any of the wonderful classes offered through the senior center here. Classes include Line Dancing, Tai Chi for MS, Painter's Workshop and Silver Sneakers Fitness Class.
• Health Insurance Assistance Is available at the Senior Center on the first and third Thursdays of the month, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. with a volunteer from the Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging. Appointment needed.
• Legal Assistance for Older Adults The Senior Law Project offers free legal assistance and referrals. Call the Senior Law Project at 651.224.7301.
• Meals on Wheels Program Nutritious meals are delivered to homebound seniors in the area. Call MM Coordinator at 952.393.9860. Volunteers are always needed.
• Senior Noontime Dining Congregate dining located at Eagle Ridge, 12600 Eagle Ridge Dr., at Travelers Trail. Reservations are required by noon, two days in advance, by calling 612.669.2911.
